The bi-annual Frankfurt motor show is always an exhibition of Germanic industrial might – for better or worse – and 2013 was no exception. The redesigned Versa sedan that reaches Nissan showrooms later this summer will post a 30 city/38 highway mpg rating, up from the current model's 28/34 rating. The Versa still has a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, but the 2012 model gets a dual-fuel injector system, the first U.S. application of the Nissan technology.
Chevrolet has set the sticker price for the Corvette Competition Sport packages it announced last week. Be prepared to spend $55,655 for a Corvette coupe with the 1LT trim level and the Competition Sport package. Adding the package to the Corvette Z06 with the 1LZ trim brings the bottom line to $74,775.
